since may 2002, in devon, pennsylvania, i’ve maintained a studio primarily for large work.  it is in a barn which dates to 1758, on the property of a friend of mine.  you can actually see it’s steepled exterior as i walk toward it in the bio-video.  it is about 15 by 25 feet and it has a 20 foot ceiling that slopes to 6 foot the length of it.  i need the height because the three easels on which  i do the three 78x78 inch panels of each triptych, can thereby be lifted by crank mechanisms the full 20 feet together to work on lower areas more easily.
