my days
this is the beginning of the current piece, a triptych.
it struck me, listening to an interview with Bacon, how it really feels in the studio. the most exciting part is the empty panel, afterall. this was compiled over 12 days. compressed, it runs 16 minutes but is fun to watch if you’re a painter. this is egg tempera on gessoed panels 72 x 72 inches.
